Why This Collection Belongs in Your Institution
The Batman Universe collection represents a primary document of Post-Modern Neuralism — the art historical movement defined by the formal characteristics of early diffusion model outputs. These works were created in November 2022 using Midjourney v3, a model whose specific hallucination signatures are now permanently archived.
The window of production is closed. This is not a style that can be replicated on demand. The flaws that define these works — the procedural overflow, the topological ambiguity, the chromatic confession — were engineered out of subsequent model versions. What you see here cannot be made again.
